This informatics project will focus on an EMERGING TECHNOLOGY that has the potential to lead to improvements in patient outcomes or patient care efficiencies. The specific outcomes or patient efficiencies need to be clearly identified. An explanation of how this improvement would occur is necessary and needs to be supported with evidence that the technology has improved outcomes or efficiencies. Identify the stakeholders impacted by this project.
Explain the patient outcome(s) or patient-care efficiencies this project is aimed at improving and explain how this improvement would occur. Be specific and provide examples.(Be sure to support your thoughts on improvements with sufficient evidence from scholarly journal articles)
Identify the technologies required to implement this project and explain why.
Identify the project team (by roles) and explain how you would incorporate the nurse informaticist in the project team.
